Three-star tight end Deondre Skinner (Patterson, La./Patterson), who recently decommitted from Arkansas, didn't waste any time finding a new home. According to multiple reports, he committed Sunday to play for Houston.
Prior to this decision, Skinner had planned official visits to Louisiana-Lafayette (Jan. 18th) and Mississippi State (Jan. 25th). The 6-foot-3, 220-pound senior also holds scholarship offers from Arizona State, LSU, Southern Miss, Texas A&M and Tulane.
ESPN describes Skinner as, "a hybrid WR/tight end who likely be more of the latter before it is all said and done... Good tools, raw player who needs to find a home."
Houston, which has been invited to join the Big East, currently possesses one of the nation's top non-BCS classes for 2013. 18 of their 24 pledges have been evaluated by ESPN, all receiving at least a three-star grade.
