Three-star wide receiver JeVontey Smith (Greensboro, Ala./West) and two-star safety Jalen Battle (Ft. Lauderdale, Fla./University School) are no longer committed to Kentucky.
Both prospects originally verballed to the Wildcats' previous staff. According to multiple recruiting Web sites, they no longer hold scholarship offers from Kentucky following the coaching change.
It appears that Smith's only current offer is from Middle Tennessee. Auburn and Tennessee showed interest earlier in the process. Battle is now considering Akron, Bowling Green, Buffalo, Florida A&M, Illinois, UMass, Navy, Toledo and Tulane.
