East Carolina landed a commitment Thursday from senior pass-catcher Trevon Brown (Wilmington, N.C./New Hanover), according to 247Sports.
Brown caught 64 passes for 1,182 yards and 19 touchdowns as a senior and was named area player of the year by the StarNews. During his junior year, Brown hauled in 66 balls for 1,035 yards and 10 scores.
He was also recruited by programs such as Clemson, Illinois, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Tennessee and Virginia Tech during the process, but the Pirates were his only scholarship offer.
He's the fourth wide receiver pledge in East Carolina's 2013 class.
