Ashton Shumpert (Fulton, Miss./Itawamba Agricultural) is one of the more difficult guys to project in this class as we feel he could just as a easily be a linebacker as he could be a power back. Regardless, for Mississippi State he is a coup due to the fact he is in-state, athletic and versatile as far as position options go. He is a big, powerful runner who adds a physical presence to the Bulldogs' run game if he remains in the backfield. However, he might be every bit as good of a fit on defense.
