HOUSTON -- Bradenton (Fla.) Manatee defensive tackle Derrick Calloway has yet to take an official visit, but he figures there's no sense in wasting any more time.
The 6-foot-1, 300-pound three-star defensive tackle likes Louisville, so he decided to commit there, announcing his intentions at the Offense-Defense All-American Bowl on Sunday at Reliant Stadium.
"I think they're an up-and-coming program, I honestly do," Calloway said. "I think Coach [Charlie] Strong shows a commitment staying there. He had offers to go to other schools but him staying there is a big commitment to the team."
