Nevada has one of the smaller 2013 recruiting classes, but news of head coach Chris Ault stepping down after 28 years leading the Wolf Pack hit home for all three of Nevada's high school verbal commitments.

Quarterback Isaac Dotson (Newport, Wash./Newport) committed to Nevada last June, in large part because of his ability to succeed in Ault's pistol offense. He was caught off guard by Ault's decision on Friday.

"It's pretty shocking news," Dotson said. "I'm still taking the whole thing in. I'm going to talk things over with my family and wait and see how everything plays out."
