The Wolf Pack kicked off their early period with the addition of two highly-regarded prospects. According to the school's official site, running back Don Jackson (Sacramento, Calif./Iowa Western CC) and safety/receiver Julian Brooks (Chatsworth, Calif./Sierra Canyon) have signed.
Jackson's a 5-foot-10, 200-pound three-star JC prospect who rushed for 2,300 yards and 23 touchdowns as a senior in high school and led all junior college backs with an 8.7 average per carry this season.
Brooks originally signed with Nevada's 2012 class in February as a high three-star wide receiver but plans to line up at safety for Nevada. Brooks, a greyshirt, accounted for 23 touchdowns and 10 interceptions as a junior before suffering an injury as a senior.
Jackson and Brooks represent the second and third highest-rated 2013 recruits currently on board with Nevada.
