Memphis head coach Justin Fuente announced the signings of Brayden Scott (Tulsa, Okla./Sequoyah-Tahlequah), Kewan Alfred (Beaumont, Texas/Trinity Valley CC), Ryan Coleman (Rialto, Calif./Riverside CC), Joe Craig (Gaffney, S.C./Copiah-Lincoln CC) and Adrian Henderson (Belton, Texas/Trinity Valley CC), according to the school's official site.
The highlight of the group may be Scott, a three-star quarterback who signed a financial aid agreement, will graduate from high school early, and participate with the team during spring practice. Scott, 6-foot-3, 195-pounds, threw for almost 7,000 yards and 90 touchdowns in high school. He was named district MVP and to the all-state team as a senior.
Alfred is a 6-foot-3, 245-pound defensive ranked in the ESPN JC 100. He was a first team all-conference selection this fall after posting 41 tackles, 3 sacks and 2 fumble recoveries.
