Despite holding a host of scholarship offers from BCS Conference programs, Jeremy Benjamin (Hollywood, Fla./McArthur) has committed to sign with Marshall, according to multiple sources.
The 6-foot-2, 230-pound four-star talent turned down Cincinnati, Florida International, Florida Atlantic, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas State, Kentucky, Memphis, Minnesota, North Carolina State, Pittsburgh, Purdue, Rutgers, SMU, Texas A&M, Wake Forest and West Virginia for the Thundering Herd.
ESPN writes in his evaluation, "Benjamin is a very active linebacker with the playing strength and speed to be disruptive against the run and pass."
