Senior running back Tearris Wallace (Bentonville, Ark./Bentonville) is on board with the Tigers, according to Rivals.com.
The 5-foot-9, 207-pound prospect selected Memphis over scholarship offers from Air Force, Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Central Arkansas and Navy. Other schools such as Arkansas, Tennessee, Tulsa and Vanderbilt showed interest.
Wallace excelled on the Nike combine circuit this spring posting an electronically timed 4.64 40-yard dash, 4.22 20-yard shuttle, 31.2-inch vertical and 97.42 SPARQ.
He is the third running back to choose Memphis for 2013, joining three-star Marquis Warford (San Antonio/Madison) and Phillip Sumpter (Edmond, Okla./Sante Fe Trail).
