A pair of junior college prospects, four-star wide receiver Jaelen Strong (Philadelphia/Pierce College) and three-star inside linebacker Eriquel Florence (San Pablo, Calif./Contra Costa College), committed to Arizona State on Christmas, multiple sources report.
Strong, a 6-foot-3, 205-pound prospect, selected the Sun Devils over offers from Arizona, Illinois, Kansas, Miami-FL, Mississippi State, Nebraska, North Carolina State, Ole Miss, Oregon State and Purdue.
While ESPN believes Strong needs to become a more refined player, he is considered the 15th best junior college talent for 2013, and, "very similar to another fine prospect in this class in WR Jonathan Rumph (Cayce, S.C./Holmes CC/Georgia), only Strong may be faster."
