Jeremey Chappelle (Tyler, Texas/Tyler Junior College) weighed his options -- and, to an extent, he let others weigh his options for him. People close to him would direct him to various schools, trying to convince him that he would be a perfect fit.
When it came down to making a final decision, Chappelle called it “a business decision.” The 6-foot-2, 212-pound receiver and mid-year juco transfer verbally committed to Mississippi State on Dec. 9, and he signed with the Bulldogs Wednesday morning.
“It feels real good; it’s a blessing,” Chappelle said. “The process got a little stressful, but it feels real good just to get back to the basics. I’m ready to put in work now.”
