Three-star dual-threat quarterback Brent Stockstill (Murfreesboro, Tenn./Siegel) has pledged to sign with new coach Tommy Tuberville and Cincinnati, multiple sources report.

Memphis, Texas Tech (Tuberville's old program) Toledo and Western Michigan also extended scholarship offers to the 6-foot-1, 195-pound senior. Other schools such as Kentucky, Mississippi State, North Carolina, South Florida, Vanderbilt and Wake Forest showed interest.

Stockstill was quite productive this fall, completing 173 of 265 pass attempts for 2,690 yards, 32 touchdowns and five interceptions. He also contributed with his legs carrying 108 times for 653 yards and 10 more scores.

ESPN calls him, "an efficient left handed passer with the accuracy needed to move the ball downfield completing short/medium throws with consistent accuracy; although primarily a pocket passer, this guy displays dual threat athleticism ... a tough, smart competitor with a BCS future; some time and perhaps a red shirt year may be necessary to polish his throwing technique while working on arm strength."
