If there’s one thing Lamar Jordan (Frisco, Texas/Centennial) learned Tuesday, it’s the college football recruiting business is just that -- a business.
Jordan was alerted that his scholarship offer to Arkansas would not be honored, and the two-star athlete was back on the recruiting market by Tuesday afternoon. Jordan said the new Arkansas staff, which features head coach Bret Bielema, pulled his offer, and he now will focus his attention on other options.
“Everyone told me college football was a business,” Jordan said. “I’m just going to let this motivate me to succeed even more.”
