Houston nabs D-lineman, receiver

Three-star defensive tackle Nick Thurman (Dallas/Lake Highlands) and wide receiver John Leday (Port Arthur, Texas/Memorial) are the latest seniors to jump on board with Houston, multiple sources report.
Thurman, a 6-foot-4, 250-pound prospect, selected the Cougars over scholarship offers from Arkansas, Columbia, Harvard, New Mexico State, North Texas, Purdue, Tulsa, UTSA and Washington State.
The 5-foot-10, 170-pound Leday also held offers from Louisiana Tech and North Texas, according to Rivals.com. He caught 49 passes for 587 yards and four touchdowns this fall.
Houston's Class of 2013 has 19 commitments.
