Sierra College (Roseville, Calif.) linebacker Luke Arciniega committed Monday to sign with the Orange, multiple sources report. He made an official visit to Syracuse for the weekend of Dec. 7.
Arciniega posted on Twitter, "Made my verbal commitment to play football for the University of Syracuse. Couldn't be more thankful for this opportunity. God is good!"
Memphis (Dec. 14 official visit) also extended a scholarship offer to the 6-foot-3, 240-pound prospect. Arciniega, who attended Sparks (Nev.) Spanish Springs High School before Sierra, received interest from Brigham Young and Miami (Fla.).
