Quincy Russell (Athens, Texas/Trinity Valley Community College) is down to two.
The highly touted junior college defensive tackle on Sunday said he ultimately will choose between Nebraska and Oklahoma. When the 6-foot-4, 308-pound defensive tackle will announce, however, is still a mystery.
Russell, who signed with Texas out of high school, will be a mid-year transfer, but he said he is uncertain if he will give a verbal commitment in time for Wednesday, the first day for mid-year transfers to sign national letters of intent.
