OL Alexander Officer to Pitt

Road grading, three-star offensive guard Alexander Officer (Rochester, N.Y./Eastridge) decided Sunday to declare for the Panthers, multiple sources report.
The 6-foot-3, 322-pound Officer made an official visit to Pitt for the weekend of Dec. 7. He was recruited by Panthers running backs coach Desmond Robinson.
Boston College, Buffalo, Connecticut, Louisville, Massachusetts, Old Dominion, Purdue, Rutgers and Syracuse also offered the senior prospect. Virginia Tech and West Virginia showed interest.
