Martin originally burst onto the recruiting scene as one of the country's most coveted prospects in the Class of 2010. He made headlines committing on Notre Dame a year ahead of time on national signing day 2009, when Charlie Weis was leading the Irish.
Weis was fired that November and Martin ended up signing with Cal. Martin later transferred to Florida but ultimately left the Gators in June 2011.
