Three-star offensive tackle Kenneth Santa Marina (New Orleans/McDonogh 35) committed Saturday to stay local and join the Green Wave, multiple sources report.
The 6-foot-6, 320-pound senior claims scholarship offers from Alabama, Colorado, Kentucky, LSU, Mississippi State, Nebraska, Ole Miss and Utah along with interest from Arkansas, Auburn, Florida and Tennessee.
ESPN states in his evaluation, "Santa Marina has the size and flashes the tools to be a productive lineman. You feel like he can get more from his size and abilities and is a bit of a project that needs to continue to polish his technical skills."
Santa Marina is the second highly-coveted offensive lineman to pick Tulane for 2013. ESPN 300 guard Christopher Taylor (Zachary, La./Zachary) announced for the Green Wave in June.
