Pima Community College (Tucson, Ariz.) safety Darius Kelly has decommitted from Marshall in favor of Syracuse, the Post-Standard reports.
Kelly officially visited the Thundering Herd on Nov. 16 and announced for them earlier this month. Other programs including Arizona, Utah and Utah State also showed interest.
While visiting Syracuse, he was drawn to the Orange's team chemistry and his host, cornerback Brandon Reddish, "He's a real cool guy," Kelly said. "He's just a symbol of what the team is. I've never been around a team that close since my freshman year in high school."
