The Jayhawks have lured Navarro College (Corsicana, Texas) offensive tackle Zach Fondal away from Arkansas, multiple sources report.
Fondal originally committed to the Razorbacks in September but softened that pledge this month.
South Florida, where he officially visited last weekend, East Carolina and New Mexico were his other scholarship offers. Programs such as Texas Tech and West Virginia showed interest.
Twelve of Kansas’ 18 Class of 2013 recruits are from the junior college ranks, as coach Charlie Weis attempts to quickly rebuild his squad following a 1-11 campaign.
