Iowa Western Community College (Council Bluffs, Iowa) safety Isaiah Johnson is the latest 2013 juco prospect to jump on board with the Jayhawks, according to multiple sources. Kansas has secured verbals from 10 juco players, nine coming on the defensive side of the football.
Johnson, a 6-foot, 210-pound talent, made an official visit to campus over the weekend and was recruited by assistant Buddy Wyatt.
Alcorn State, New Mexico, Northern Iowa, South Alabama and Wyoming also extended scholarship offers. Arizona State, North Carolina, North Carolina State and Purdue showed interest.
The Jayhawks have 16 total pledges for 2013.
