Iowa Western Community College (Council Bluffs, Ia.) offensive tackle Dallas Hinkhouse committed Monday to sign with Illinois, according to multiple sources.
The 6-foot-5, 270-pound prospect also received scholarship offers from Akron, Appalachian State, Ball State, Florida International, Memphis, Miami-OH, Nevada, Old Dominion, San Jose State, South Florida, Southern Illinois, Troy, Texas-San Antonio and Western Kentucky.
Fresh off a difficult 2-10 season, Illinois has picked up six junior college commitments for 2013, five coming since mid-November.
The Fighting Illini have 26 total pledges.
