The sudden resignation of Missouri offensive coordinator David Yost left commits and targets scratching their heads. Three-star athlete Aarion Penton (St. Louis/Christian Brothers College High) was one of the Missouri commits looking forward to learning under Yost’s tutelage.
“I’m shocked. I think he should have given it another shot next year,” said Penton, who committed to Missouri back in February.
Penton, however, did say that life must go on, and he’s one of the commits looking forward to SEC competition next year. Penton, recruited by cornerbacks coach Cornell Ford, said he's still committed to Missouri and feels the next offensive coordinator will have enough talent around him to make big things happen.
