Marchie Murdock commits to Illinois

The first official visit was more than enough for wide receiver Marchie Murdock (Mansfield, Texas/Legacy).
After returning from an official to Illinois, the 6-foot-1, 180-pound wide receiver decided the school was the place for him. Murdock gave the Fighting Illini his verbal commitment Sunday evening and became the program’s 25th pledge of the 2013 recruiting class.
