WR Corey Smith makes the call

East Mississippi Community College (Scooba, Miss.) wide receiver Corey Smith committed today to play for coach Dan Mullen and the Mississippi State Bulldogs, multiple sources report. He spent the weekend touring the Starkville campus on an official visit.
Smith is the second junior college pass-catcher to select the Bulldogs today. Tyler (Texas) Junior College's Jeremy Chappelle also jumped on board.
Smith has an official visit to Ohio State scheduled for Jan. 11. Akron, Alabama, Arkansas, Ball State, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Miami (OH), North Carolina, Ole Miss, Penn State, Tennessee, Texas, Toledo and Vanderbilt were his other offers.
