The Cal Golden Bears picked up a verbal Saturday night from four-star cornerback Cameron Walker (Los Angeles/Loyola), multiple source report. He made an official visit for the weekend of Oct. 5th.
Walker, 5-foot-11, 180-pounds, also took official visits to Boise State (Oct. 12th) and Wisconsin (Nov. 16th). His other scholarship offers include Arizona, Arizona State, Cincinnati, Fresno State, Michigan, Oregon State, San Diego State, Stanford, Utah and Washington.
ESPN describes him as, "a productive playmaker and a bit of a sleeper. He's a well-rounded prospect as he can cover and also provide a physical element. He has a good blend of size, footwork and closing quickness... Walker is a versatile, instinctive corner who can play both man and zone and do it well. He is not elite in any particular area but very good in many."
He is commitment No. 16 for Cal. The Bears currently hold the nation's 40th best recruiting class.
