City College of San Francisco defensive tackle LaRyan King has pledged to continue his career at Colorado State, multiple sources report. He made an official visit to campus the weekend of Nov. 30.
Baylor, Maryland and Washington State also extended scholarship offers to the 6-foot-2, 290-pound native of Vacaville, Calif.
In 2011, King was a 260-pound high school prospect whom ESPN described as "an aggressive player who must improve his athleticism and playing strength ... His tough, aggressive play could prove productive at the non-BCS level of competition."
Colorado State has 10 verbals for 2013, including two from the junior college ranks.
