Michigan is still looking for a superstar running back, even if that means looking in the 2014 class. The Wolverines offered a potential star on Wednesday in Joe Mixon (Oakley, Calif./Freedom).
The 6-foot-1, 191-pound running back has started to gain some serious interest, and was excited about the offer from Michigan.
"I called Coach (Dan) Ferrigno, and we've been talking about the offer for probably two weeks now," he said. "I was supposed to receive it last Sunday, but he just showed my tape to the running back coach. He loved it and Coach Ferrigno said 'We want to offer you a full-ride scholarship.'"
