Frisco (Texas) Centennial athlete Lamar Jordan can now concentrate fully on trying to win a state championship.
Jordan, a two-star Arkansas commitment, admits he has been paying attention to the Razorbacks' coaching situation for a while. With the hiring of former Wisconsin coach Bret Bielema, Jordan doesn’t have to listen to any more rumors.
“I was hearing Mike Gundy. I was hearing the Boise State coach [Chris Petersen],” Jordan said. “When they offered Les Miles, I was really excited. But when he declined it, I decided it was time to start focusing more on my team.”
