Junior college linebacker Myke Tavarres (Weed, Calif./College of the Siskiyous) committed to Arkansas in August, but that hasn't stopped a couple of West region programs from pursuing the 6-foot-2, 215-pound outside linebacker.
Arizona took the latest shot at Tavarres, as the Wildcats hosted him on an official visit this past weekend.
"I'd already been there once, so I was just looking for some extra stuff and it was all there," he said. "I like how the coaches coach the players during practice. They got up front and talked to them individually about the things they did, good and bad. Just the feel of being there was really nice. I felt the coaches connected with the players."
