Early Sunday morning, defensive end A.J. Burdine (Cincinnati Elder) sat down with Don Treadwell and told the Miami (Ohio) coach the truth.
“I said ‘Honestly, Coach Treadwell, I didn’t think it’d be anything like this, but the visit went great,’ ” Burdine said. “I’ve been to Wisconsin and I’m sure they would have been nice with an official visit, but I really liked Miami.”
The RedHawks are the latest to offer Burdine, who has six offers in all. Burdine made his first visit to Miami this weekend, and the visit could not have gone better. It catapulted the RedHawks to the top of the 6-foot-3, 260-pound Burdine’s list.
