East Mississippi Community College dual-threat quarterback Quez Johnson is set to continue his career at Florida Atlantic, multiple sources report.

Johnson, a Starkville, Miss. native, redshirted in 2011 before taking over the starting job in 2012. This fall, he completed 59.3-percent of his passes for 2,846 yards, 27 touchdowns and 9 interceptions and rushed for 540 yards and 12 more scores.

Northwestern State and Tennessee-Martin also extended scholarship offers to the 6-foot-1, 225-pound prospect.

Johnson is the first Juco pledge, and 13th overall, for the Owls' 2013 class.
