Three-star offensive guard Jonathan Huckins (The Woodlands, Texas/The Woodlands) said Sunday’s news of Colorado coach Jon Embree getting fired gave him a lot to think about.
While the 6-foot-4, 300-pound interior lineman is currently committed to the Buffaloes, he said on Monday that he most likely will take a couple of visits to other schools as insurance. He most likely will visit Arizona State and Iowa State, but trips have yet to be secured.
“The coaching change kind of gave me a little push to search other colleges,” Huckins said. “I don’t know who they’re going to hire. I don’t know what’s going to happen.
