Three-star linebacker Dominic Zanca-McDonald (Altamonte Springs, Fla./Lake Brantley) would love to stick with his commitment to Tennessee.
However the 6-foot-2, 245-pound senior decided to take an official to Purdue this past weekend as part of a contingency plan. When he left West Lafayette, Ind., on Sunday morning, he was told by head coach Danny Hope to expect an in-home visit next month.
By the time Zanca-McDonald arrived back in Orlando, Hope had been fired.
