The Broncos have landed a commitment from three-star defensive end Kamalei Correa (Honolulu/St. Louis), multiple sources report. He made an official visit during the weekend of Nov. 16th for Boise State's 42-14 victory over Colorado State.
Correa took another official visit to Utah (Nov. 2nd). Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado, Hawaii, Oregon State, San Diego State, Washington State and Wyoming also extended scholarship offers to the 6-foot-3, 250-pound senior.
ESPN, in its evaluation of Correa, writes that he, "has a nice frame... displays good initial burst... can be tough at the point of attack... displays a solid motor... shows some upside."
Kamalei is commitment No. 15 for Boise State. Two other defensive lineman, Nick Terry (Elk Grove, Calif./Pleasant Grove) and Justin Taimatuia (Fagasa, AS/Fort Scott Community College) are also on board.
