Jared GoffTom Hauck/ESPNHSQB Jared Goff remains committed to Cal and is working hard to keep other recruits committed, too.

The search for a leader for California's football program began the moment former head coach Jeff Tedford was dismissed Tuesday morning. No such search will be necessary for the Golden Bears' 2013 recruiting class, however, as the leader there has been in place and established for some time.

Quarterback Jared Goff (Kentfield, Calif./Marin Catholic) has plenty to deal with on and off the field right now, as his team prepares for a semifinal playoff game and he focuses on finishing up his final semester of high school before enrolling at Cal in January. But his plate was filled again on Tuesday, as he stepped up again as the focal point of Cal's recruiting class. He said he was able to reach all 13 current Cal commits.
