Senior prospect Rylee Gautavai (Bountiful, Utah) has pledged to sign with the Brigham Young Cougars, according to the Deseret News. He attended the program's junior day, made several unofficial visits to campus, and finally received a scholarship offer after sending senior film to the coaching staff.
"BYU is really the only school I've ever wanted to play for," he said. "I went to all their games growing up. My whole family are big BYU fans. And I love the school, the coaches. I love everything, so I immediately accepted their offer."
The 6-foot, 201-pound outside linebacker was also recruited by Arizona, Utah and Utah State but his only offer was from the Cougars.
