Kansas lands two juco prospects

Samson Faifili and Mark Thomas have committed to sign with Kansas, multiple sources report. Both players made official visits this weekend for the Jayhawks 51-23 loss to Iowa State.
Faifili, a 5-foot-11, 240-pound linebacker from American River College (Sacramento, Calif.), also holds scholarship offers from Hawaii, Iowa State, Nevada and Oregon State. He originally attended Granger High School (West Valley City, Utah.).
Connecticut, Marshall and Syracuse offered the 6-foot-1, 205-pound Thomas, a wide receiver who currently attends Nassau Community College (Garden City, N.Y.). He graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School (Brooklyn, N.Y.) before arriving at Nassau.
The Jayhawks now have 13 verbals, including six from the junior college ranks.
