Huskers score first RB in Adam Taylor

November, 17, 2012

Prior to the start of Friday, Nebraska’s 2013 recruiting class had 14 solid commits. The class, however, was still lacking a running back. Late Friday evening, the Cornhuskers landed a top-40 back and -- as they did in 2009 with Rex Burkhead -- ventured to the Lone Star State to find him.

Four-star running back Adam Taylor (Katy, Texas/Katy) gave Nebraska his verbal commitment and became the Huskers’ 15th commitment of the class. A 6-foot-1, 200-pound bruiser who meshes power and speed, Taylor’s decision came late Friday but became public Saturday afternoon, minutes before Nebraska’s Senior Day game against Minnesota.
