DE Darius Roper says yes to Temple

Senior defensive end Darius Roper (Jersey City, N.J./St. Anthony) accepted a scholarship offer Sunday from the Owls, according to multiple reports.
Albany, Connecticut and Delaware also recruited the 6-foot-2, 239-pound prospect.
Before this season, Roper posted an electronically-timed 5.39 40-yard dash, 4.87 20-yard shuttle, 23.8-inch vertical and 52.23 SPARQ at a Nike Combine.
Temple has 15 confirmed pledges for 2013, including multiple players who signed in 2012 but are currently attending prep school.
