Louisiana Tech adds juco specialist Jed Barnett

Laney College (Oakland, Calif.) punter Jed Barnett is set to continue his career with the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs, according to Rivals.com. He was recruited by Louisiana Tech inside receivers/special teams coach Mark Tommerdahl.
The 6-foot-2, 215-pound prospect's other scholarship offer was from Stony Brook. Barnett, a Camas, Wash. native, also received interest from Idaho, San Jose State and Washington State.
