Tulsa’s 2013 recruiting class hit a baker’s dozen Monday night, as three-star defensive end Donnie White Jr. (St. Louis/De Smet) verbally committed to the Golden Hurricane.
A 6-foot-3, 220-pound defensive end/outside linebacker hybrid, White is Tulsa’s first commit of the kind. Ranked No. 18 in Missouri, White chose Tulsa over offers from Arkansas, Arkansas State, Boston College and New Mexico. He also had interest from Missouri, Iowa State, Arizona State and other programs.
