When looking at this year's backs and their committed schools, its hard to find a more perfect fit than Corey Clement (Glassboro, N.J.) and Wisconsin. The Badgers have their future load-back in this Jersey prospect. Clement is a strong, downhill, record-breaking runner who is being considering for a bump in ranking upon our next release. He is having a very productive senior season and is a decisive runner who simply doesn't leave any yards on the field at the high school level and should translate a lot of that production to Wisconsin with their ground and pound game.
Physically, Clement should be able to contribute early and has the aggressive, plant-and-get-north style that projects well at the college level. While durable and powerful and balanced breaking first contact, Clement separates himself from other inside runners with his ability to bounce out of the hole and elude defenders laterally without gearing down much. He also has sneaky speed when he gets outside to take it the distance and simply does not get caught from behind often.
