* Arizona picked a great weekend to post its biggest win of the season. The three-point win over the USC Trojans came in front of dozens of recruits. Verbal commitments, such as cornerback Derek Babiash (Poway, Calif./Poway), wide receiver Nate Phillips (Chandler, Ariz./Basha), Maurice Lee (Tempe, Ariz./Marcos De Niza), offensive tackle Jacob Alsadek (Del Mar, Calif./Torrey Pines), linebacker Ryan Dunn (Danville, Calif./San Ramon Valley), running back Zach Green (Ventura, Calif./St. Bonaventure), athlete Devin Holiday (San Marcos, Calif./Mission Hills) and wide receiver Paul Elvira (Tempe, Ariz./Marcos De Niza) were in attendance and several of them said there was plenty of talk about how excited they were to join Rich Rodriguez' program next season.

They could have some company in the future as well. Green brought along teammate and ESPN Watch List tight end Bryce Dixon for an unofficial visit and Dixon said he was impressed by the Wildcats' aerial attack. Holiday had several guests in tow as well, including younger cousin and 2015 standout Dechaun Holiday (San Marcos, Calif./Mission Hills).

Two additional Watch List prospects were in attendance, as wide receiver Cameron Denson (Tucson, Ariz./Salpointe Catholic) and offensive tackle Andrew Mike (Tucson, Ariz./Sabino) watched the Wildcats come away with the win. The batch of top-tier Arizona prospects in the 2014 class is as strong as it has been in several years, so proving they can be competitive in the Pac-12 conference could lead to huge rewards for the Wildcats.

* Nebraska hosted plenty of official visitors this past weekend, but a foursome from the West region drew some of the most attention. Quarterback Johnny Stanton (Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif./Santa Margarita) was the lone verbal commitment from the West Coast in attendance, but the Cornhuskers made an impression on ESPN 150 safety Priest Willis (Tempe, Ariz./Marcos De Niza). Nebraska also hosted two intriguing recruits in offensive tackle Aaron Cochran (Atwater, Calif./Buhach Colony) and wide receiver Damore'ea Stringfellow (Moreno Valley, Calif./Rancho Verde), who is committed to Washington.
