Crenshaw (Calif.) keeps cruising

Despite a roster that features fewer than three dozen student-athletes, Crenshaw (Calif.) has simply found a way to win this season. A three-point loss to Westlake (Calif.) in the third week of the season is the only blemish for the 6-1 Cougars, as they have posted a very impressive 13-2 win over Westlake Village (Calif.) Oaks Christian and outscored their first two league opponents by a 99-8 margin.

Contributions have come from a variety of players and positions, but much of the production usually stems from senior leaders Mossi Johnson, Dominique Hatfield and Max Lyons. And as the wins pile up for the two-way standouts, so to does interest from college coaches.

Johnson's stock rose the fastest, as he earned scholarship offers from UCLA and UNLV, and pulled the trigger on a commitment to the Bruins several weeks ago.
