The Bruins gained another big piece for 2013 with the addition of Under Armour All-American center Scott Quessenberry (Carlsbad, Calif./La Costa Canyon), multiple sources report.
Quessenberry, ranked No. 189 in the ESPN 300, was also offered by Arizona, Arizona State, Arkansas, Boise State, California, Nebraska, Oregon, Oregon State, San Diego State, San Jose State, SMU, Utah, Washington, Washington State and Wisconsin.
ESPN rates Quessenberry as the No. 2 OC and calls him, "a very effective offensive tackle, dominating defenders with his athleticism and playing strength. However, his present size and growth potential indicate a move to center and that would best take advantage of his outstanding athletic ability."
