Santa Ana (Calif.) College cornerback / safety prospect Davion Orphey has committed to sign as part of Brigham Young's Class of 2013, multiple sources report.
The 6-foot-1, 190-pound defender also received scholarship offers from Mississippi State, New Mexico, Utah and Utah State.
Baylor and Fresno State were among the other programs recruiting Orphey, who attended Edison High School (Huntington Beach, Calif.) prior to Santa Ana.
The Cougars now have 23 players, including three junior college defensive prospects, on board for 2013.
