Three-star running back Jacky Marcellus (Immokalee, Fla.) pledged to sign with the West Virginia Mountaineers on Friday, multiple sources report.
According to the Naples Daily News, the 5-foot-8, 180-pound Marcellus idolized former WVU running backs Steve Slaton and Noel Devine growing up.
"I've been thinking about playing for West Virginia's offense since eighth grade," he told the Daily News. "When Noel Devine came in, I started studying the offense. He's a smaller back, I'm a smaller back. I can play in that offense."
